Questions we hear often

Is this a diagnosis?: No. Tangled Live is a screening companion. It produces pattern indicators, not clinical diagnoses. If any of the results concern you, bring them to a licensed clinician.
Which tests are included?: The pre-login quiz mixes ASRS-v1.1, ACE-Q, a full 25-item Original ADHD instrument, and a short Original Trauma subset. After you unlock the Premium report you can complete the full 17-item Original Trauma battery plus the 20-item PCL-5 and Philadelphia ACE for a higher-resolution profile.
What makes this different from free quizzes?: Two things: (1) we cross-reference ADHD and trauma in the same pipeline, so overlapping symptoms don't get misattributed; and (2) every score is normalized and banded with transparent convergence flags — you see where the evidence is strong, moderate, or pending.
Do you store my answers?: We store only what's necessary to regenerate your report. Individual item responses are not retained except for the three legally required crisis triggers.
What happens if the quiz flags a crisis?: You'll see a non-dismissible resource screen with the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and Crisis Text Line. The quiz will not gate you behind a paywall — safety resources are always free and always visible.
Will you add autism screening?: Yes, but carefully. Adult autism screeners like the CAT-Q require author permission for commercial use. We're working on it and will not ship anything half-baked.
Is this covered by insurance?: No. Tangled Live is a self-knowledge tool. It is not a medical service and is not billable to insurance.
